OUAT 7.12 A Taste Of The Heights: Regina Goes After Witch Killer.

More info about the upcoming Once Upon A Time episode , A Taste Of The Heights:

— Spoiler Alert —

Regina/Roni (Lana Parrilla) and her sister, Zelena/Kelly (Rebecca Madder), will hunt down the person killing witches in the upcoming episode of “Once upon a Time.”

In the episode titled “A Taste of the Heights,” the promo shows Regina extremely worried about the unexpected death of several witches. The first one to perish was the nurse who was taking care of Lucy (Alison Fernandez). After confirming that the child’s father was Henry (Andrew J. West), she keeled over, dead. The nurse was poisoned and the only clue to the culprit’s identity was the black leather gloves he/she was wearing.

Series co-creators Adam Horowitz and Eddy Kitsis told TVLine that the secret killer storyline is going to be interconnected with the coven and Gothel’s/Eloise’s (Emma Booth) plot. They said, though, that this enigma would be unveiled quite soon. As for the shocking sacrifice of Victoria/Rapunzel (Gabrielle Anwar), the EPs said that the character died an honorable death. Gothel saved Drizella/Ivy (Adelaide Kane) and told her that all she wanted was for her and her sister, Anastacia (Yael Yurman) to be in good terms again.

“[She] originally was trapped in a tower and kind of became this villain, and yet in this moment in the relationship between Ivy and her… she was able to reclaim who she was. And I think that’s always been a message on the show, which is this is not a show where we expect you to be perfect. This is a show where we all say, ‘OK, every day we make mistakes, but it’s how you come back from them.’ So we felt like that was a fitting ending,” Kitsis explained.

Meanwhile, the episode will also see Tiana (Mekia Cox) on the day of her coronation. It will be ruined when she is forced to go to the Bayou after an ugly confrontation with Dr. Facilier (Daniel Francis). Once there, an unexpected encounter will turn her world upside down. It looks like Tiana is finally going to meet her prince.

“Once Upon a Time” season 7 airs Fridays at 8 p.m. EST on ABC.

Once Upon A Time eyes musical episode for Spring

Once Upon A Time eyes musical episode for Spring

Will Grumpy and the rest of Once Upon a Time‘s dwarfs finally sing about whistling while they work? Will erstwhile cricket Dr. Archie Hopper let loose with a tune about wishing upon a star?

Be prepared”, because such melodic mysteries might be addressed during Season 6. TVLine hears that the fantastical, fairy tale-themed ABC series is currently planning a musical episode, to air sometime this spring. And to that end, some cast members are actively brushing up on their vocal skills.

An ABC spokesperson had no comment on TVLine’s story.

Having weaved in characters from Frozen, The Little Mermaid, Aladdin and other musical Disney features over the years, talk of Once cuing up a musical episode has always brewed, with series cocreator Eddy Kitsis saying as recently as the 2015 Comic-Con, “It would be great to do a musical episode, [but] I don’t know even know where to begin.”

Well, it would seem that the show bosses figured that one out. Continue reading

Should Lana Parrilla’s Regina have new love interest on OUAT?

Mrs. Carter: It’s only fair for “Once Upon a Time” fans to want a happily ever after for Regina.

At the core of the ABC drama is this sentiment that if you are good and virtuous, eventually something good will come your way. That does not necessarily mean that it is permanent, but that your life should be in many ways better than it was when you were wishing for that man or woman to enter your world and bring in a beautiful love.

Unfortunately, Regina Mills is a character surrounded in tragedy almost her entire life. We’ve already seen the sort of mother Cora was, we saw the end of her relationship with Daniel, we dealt with Daniel’s reanimated corpse, and more recently we saw the end of her latest true love in Robin Hood after he had provided her with hope for the future. Emma and Snow White have been able to find and, to date, maintain their perceptions of happy endings. Regina has not, and it cannot always be traced to the result of her own actions.

As we venture further into season 6, the question we want to ask in this latest chapter of our ‘Shiptober series is rather simple: Should Regina find a new love interest, someone currently in the cast, or no one at all? Continue reading
